Sheen refers to the light reflectivity of the painted or varnished surface. There are varying degrees of sheen, from no sheen to high gloss. Though some paint manufacturers may refer to their paint sheens by different names, generaly, from lowest to highest, paint sheens correspond to these reflective degrees:
- Flat (1–9% gloss)
- Low Sheen (10–25% gloss)
- Eggshell (26–40% gloss)
- Semi Gloss (41–69% gloss)
- Gloss (70–89% gloss)
We ask that you put the furnature to the closest spot in the middle of the room and give us at least 2-3 feet from the wall to paint. Now, if we are painting the ceiling then please use your best judgement as far as what needs to be moved.
Many homeoweners lack the consideration that painters are going to move your furnature, we are not furnature movers and or unless you pay us extra.
No it is not!
Painters are not like mechanics, we paint for a living and we do our work over and over after usually two coats of paint to cover, unless it’s a color similar to the color we are painting or we spurge on the expensive thick paint, and that doesn’t always cover either.
